Topshop hits Sydney!

This week Topshop opens it's first retail outlet in Australia! Sadly it's not a Topshop store however Oxford Street (Sydney) store Incu has been the first in Australia to secure the line for its store. Most Topshop basics can be purchased in clone versions just about everywhere but there are a few unique Topshop items. I'm liking these new October additions!

Emily Temple Cute October Offerings

So, Emily Temple Cute is a Japanese store in the cute Lolita trend. Alannah hill has been mentioned several times for ripping off several of their designs. It's possible to find the odd piece of ETC for sale on the net but your best chance is just to go to Japan. They have a stores in Kyoto, Nagoya, Tokyo and Hiroshima that I know of. I'm sure there are more. Pieces come at a similar price to what you would expect to pay for say an Alannah Hill equivalent item, which makes sense I guess! If you can't get to Japan just keep an eye out in Alannah Hill boutiques!

Oscar de la Renta Tulle Strapless dress

I love love love this gorgeous Tulle Strapless Dress from Oscar de la Renta on Net A Porter. In the region of AU$9000. I'm seriously liking the tulle, ballerina style skirts. There is a similar but way less extravagant dress by Camilla and Marc - the Lotus Frock, which retails for around AU$590. You can get that one from Frock Shop. The de la Renta brings tulle and sequins to a whole new level of sophistication!
